GLAS MARTE WAS AWARDED THE GERMAN DESIGN AWARD SPECIAL 2016

The Vorarlberg-based family business Glas Marte was awarded the title of Special Mention in the category Excellent Product Design – Bath and Wellness at the German Design Award 2016, which is one of the most recognized design competitions in the world.

Among other things, the jury’s statement says that the GM CABINMART® flush-mounted glass partition module reduces visible structures and thus ensures an exceptionally elegant and high-quality design in the upmarket sanitary sector. Since the closing unit is found on the inside only, the perfect surface in the outside area is not disturbed by attachments or handles. A sophisticated solution that elegantly emphasizes the modern ambience in both public and private sanitary areas.

Therefore, we try to meet the demands and expectations of the respective target groups in collaboration with architects and planners. The German Design Award places the highest demands on the determination of its winners: In the nomination process, expert panels of the German Design Council only invite those products and communication design services to participate in the competition, which are demonstrably differentiated by their design quality in the competition. The jury of the German Design Award 2016 is made up of design experts from a wide range of disciplines. They come from business, teaching and science backgrounds as well as the design industry and are acknowledged capacities in their respective fields.
